One of my favorite parts abut the LKP ROLEmodel Program is that I get to play creatively with my girls. Coming up with new themes and new concepts I want to try each year is challenging and fun and helps to push me to new creative heights. My Botanical Portrait Series came to me like a lightning strike and is probably my favorite series of images I have ever created. I wanted to create images that were very painterly, simple, and monochromatic. I wanted each set of images to have a focus on a botanical element. For Zoey's shoot I went with a white theme and put her in an incredible vintage gown and used a dainty white flower that grows on my property as her botanical element. This shoot could not have come out more perfectly and more clearly representing my original vision. I feel so blessed to be able to create work like this for my senior girls and for myself.
