One of my favorite things about my High School Senior Model Program is that I get to create these super outside the box creative shoots for them. These shoots push me to think differently and test the boundaries of my creativity. For this shoot I wanted to do something with a parachute, so I bought a 25 foot vintage white one on eBay. I wasn't sure what I was going to do until I pulled it out of the box and started playing with it and pinning it up on my dress form. For this years Creative Couture shoots I did four themes with two girls in each, so I knew I would have to make two separate parachute shoots and didn't want them wearing the same dress so I had to figure out how to make two dresses out of one parachute. Surprisingly enough, it was really easy and I am straight up obsessed with the results. I made one big dress with most of the fabric and then this more reasonable sized one with the rest. I just love how it looks on gorgeous Joselynn, and how my incredibly talented makeup artist, Cheryl, finished off the look in a very fashion forward way. I'm super happy with this shoot and I hope you love it as well. I can't wait to share the next one soon.
