EMILY’s senior Portraits

Oh, what a joy this lovely girl was to photograph. When Emily and her mom called me to book her senior portraits, Emily said she wanted two main things out of the session: my field of flowers shot and senior portraits on the beach. Emily is a Colorado native but was in Santa Barbara doing a summer program at UCSB. She wanted her senior portraits to be different from all her friends back home, and she wanted to capture her summer in gorgeous Santa Barbara. I was delighted to give her all of this and more and make her feel beautiful and unique. I loved getting to create such a wide variety of looks for her. We started in the studio with her requested field of flowers shoot, to which I added some painterly vintage style portraits to (at the bottom of the post) and then moved on the beach. This shoot was a blast, and I so loved creating this memory with this beautiful girl. Happy senior year, Emily! Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer.
