I’m photographing 40 Dancers in 2024, I’d love for yours to be one of them!
Join me in my mission to celebrate and empower young dancers. Showcasing their passion, craft and skill in portraits. Join me in a unique portrait experience culminating in a gallery show, where your daughter will get to see herself as the work of art that she is.
For dancers ages 6 to 18 of all skill levels
The Experience Includes
Pro Hair+ Makeup
Camera-ready custom makeup application by our skillful on site make-up artist. Glammed up or natural and luminous, it's all up to you! Light hairstyling for picture perfect results!
Consultation
Pre-consultation to discuss how your dancer wants to be photographed, what outfits they would like to wear, etc.
Studio Wardrobe
Our studio houses an extensive collection of fabrics, skirts, gowns and accessories, empowering your dancer to express themselves fully and shine even brighter.
Photoshoot
Fully guided magazine style photoshoot where I will pose the dancer from their expression to their fingertips. Your dancer will take center stage, and we will collaborate to ensure they are captured beautifully.
Portrait Reveal
A reveal and ordering session where you can see all your dancer’s beautiful photographs, choose your 2 included images, and have the opportunity to purchase more.
Gallery Exhibition
Your dancer will also be featured in our upcoming celebration and gallery exhibition, providing your dancer with well-deserved recognition and a celebration with the other dancers featured in this project.

HI I’M LUCIA kiel, a santa barbara based, ACCREDITED master portrait photographer.I created this campaign because two of my biggest loves in life are empowering kids and teens and photographing dance.
I want to show your dancer how remarkable they are, just as they are. I want to create art while being a loving mirror for your kids to show them back to themselves the way that you see them.
Capturing your dancer’s passion is more important than capturing perfect skills, but I don’t stop until I have captured their best shot. You’ll all be engaged in the shoot, viewing images in real time, so you can be sure your dancer’s technique is captured just how you and they imagined. Whether their strength is jumps, extensions, or other dance skills, I am sure to showcase their talent in a unique way!

Dancers of any style and skill level ages 6 to 18

The special promo For the Love of Dance shoot costs only $690 (a $1090 value) and includes two images of your choice. You are welcome to purchase more of your portraits at your reveal but are not required to.

In order to offer this experience at such a low price I will be photographing multiple dance promo shoots in a day. These mini day’s will be offered every one to three months usually on a Friday. Please contact asap to secure your spot on the date that works best for you.

All photoshoots will take place in Santa Barbara, CA. I have a beautiful studio in my home in Mission Canyon. We are in an olive orchard right across the street from the Botanic Garden. All photoshoots and workshops will take place in this peaceful and safe location.

I have been photographing dance for almost a decade. I know that capturing the dancers form correctly is more important than anything else. If I am ever not completely confident in correct form I will check with you and your dancer.

Our Custom Session is available to give you the more complete experience that can include locations, creative themed shoots and more.

In December if this year we will celebrate all the dancers photographed in 2024 in a gala style art opening featuring your dancer. One piece of art from each shoot will be big on display for all to enjoy. Your family and guests are invited to dress up and celebrate the your dancers and their stories in our community. Your dancer and hr story will also be featured in a magazine that will be given to every participant.
